Priority One: Ingress
You’ll be ready to start the first Campaign assignment, Ingress, after conversing with Santos and Herrera. This may be found by accessing your main menu and going to the Campaigns tab.
After you’ve gone in, go through the doorway up ahead to the objective marker on your screen. The first step is to obtain the refinery plans. After entering the marked room, proceed to the console on the left.
Then, through the doorway to your left, make your way to Hoenikker’s location. When you arrive, approach the ground-level medkit to start a conversation.
You’ll be ambushed right away by a gang of adversaries that will approach you from both corridors. With the help of your teammates, clear them out. You can also fire the red explosive canisters at close groups of opponents to cause massive damage.
After the battle, proceed forward to the next destination marker, which is just around the corner. To obtain entrance to the closed door, you’ll need to cut the security bolt. You’ll be ambushed by more foes as you do so. That should be handled by your teammates.
Prepare for another ambush as you pass through the doorway. Continue through the corridor, taking out adversaries along the way to the destination sign. When you approach the large area ahead, you’ll hear some brief speech before being ambushed on both sides by a large wave of enemies.
You can use the neighboring boxes as cover while laying down fire to protect yourself and your friends. In addition to the regular Xenomorph foes you’ve seen so far, you’ll encounter two new enemy types: Xenomorph Busters, who will explode if they approach too close to you, and Xenomorph Spitters, who will spit deadly acid at you from afar.
If you run out of ammo, interact with the neighboring Ammo Crate on the left side of the room to replenish your supply.
It’s a good idea to reload your ammo after the fight so you’re ready for the next one. Approach the terminal in the room’s center and interact with it to unlock the doors. Again make your way to the new destination marker, dodging the Xenomorphs that drop from the ceiling every now and then.
You’ll be encouraged to prepare for the impending combat when you arrive at the next terminal. Across the street from the terminal are some containers containing precious stuff. An Ammo Box and an Aid Kit are on the left, and a deployable Sentry Gun is in the rightmost crate.
You can find the Sentry Gun by going to the Consumables menu and selecting it. You can put it anywhere on the ground nearby, but it’ll be best if it’s on your left or right side to protect you from incoming opponents.
Run the startup sequence at the neighboring terminal once you’re ready to combat. Both the left and right sides will be flooded with Xenomorphs. There’s lots of cover in the room’s center and flanks, so you’ll want to stay behind those to avoid taking damage.
You’ll confront a gigantic Xenomorph Warrior in addition to the three enemy kinds you’ve battled thus far. Keep your distance from this enemy, since he is tougher than the others and devastating up close. If it gets too close, switch to your shotgun or another close-range weapon to take it out.
Exit through the specified doorway after the fight and proceed to the next destination point. You’ll walk into another wide area with three passageways that converge in the middle. Continue forward after dispatching the attackers, including the new Xenomorph Drone type.
Defeat the incoming foes in the next vast chamber and proceed to the right-hand door. Keep an eye out for the Xenomorph Prowler lurking near the boxes, ready to ambush you.
Proceed to the next chamber after unlocking the door. Clear the room of foes and trigger the panel in the back. Then turn around and go back to the enormous room you were in before. As waves of Xenomorphs invade the region, you’ll have to hold it down for a while.
Your best bet is to hunker down at the back corner of the chamber, where you’ll have excellent visibility of the adversaries approaching from all sides and plenty of cover to duck behind. When a group of Xenomorphs approaches, don’t forget to fire the explosive canisters.
The next goal is to use the neighboring freight elevator to exit. Exit through the door on the left side of the area and make your way to the next location, clearing any foes out as you go. Exit through the right-hand entryway after passing through the enormous circular generating room.
Continue on to the next room, where the freight elevator shaft can be found. Clear out the Xenomorphs emerging from the ventilation shaft on the right side of the chamber and prepare for another battle. A number of useful things may be found on the left side of the area, including an Aid Kit, an Ammo Crate, Incendiary Rounds, and two Sentry Guns.
Place the Sentry Guns on your left and right at strategic places facing the open area across from the elevator shaft. Enemies will only approach you from that direction as you approach the elevator, so you won’t be flanked from behind or from the ventilation shaft on your right.
When you’re ready to leave, use the panel near the elevator to summon it. With countless waves of opponents, you’ll have to live for about 180 seconds (or about three minutes).
If you run out of ammo (which is very likely), make sure to replenish your supplies at the nearby Ammo Crate on the left. Enter the elevator after the timer runs out to complete this section of the mission and earn your prizes.
