Act 1 takes place inside Peterson’s house in Hello Neighbor 2, where players must open the basement door.
On December 6, 2022, Hello Neighbor 2 will be released on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5, and the PC. On the first day, the game will be accessible via Game Pass.
Welcome Home, Second Story
Being a standalone sequel, Hello Neighbor 2 can be enjoyed by players without them needing to have played or understood the first game.
When players return to Raven Brooks, they aren’t the nosy little neighbors who can’t keep their nose out of other people’s businesses as they were before. Instead, gamers assume control of a journalist doing an investigation on Mr. Peterson and visiting Raven Brooks. But it appears that, aside from Mr. Peterson, there is a problem throughout the entire community.
In the horror stealth game Hello Neighbor 2, Quentin, the main character, must sneak into a number of different buildings and solve puzzles. The necessary things are typically dispersed over a number of rooms, thus Hello Neighbor 2 players must determine which item goes with which puzzle in order to solve the mystery.

How To Beat Act 1 In Hello Neighbor 2
Act 1 takes set at the blue home known as the 910 Friendly Court, which served as the scene of a crime in Hello Neighbor 2. Aaron Peterson is taken hostage by Theodore Peterson, also known as the Neighbor, at the beginning of the game, and is then locked inside the home. This encourages Quentin to raid the neighbor’s house and find out all of his secrets for good.
Players must acquire four keys to the Neighbor’s basement in order to complete Act 1 of Hello Neighbor 2. Each key is located at 910 Friendly Court after completing a problem and running away from Officer Nielsen, who is watching the residence. From the WCB4 TV, where players were woken up, one can go to the house by going down the slope, then turning right. There are four riddles.
- The Dollhouse Puzzle
- The Locked Safe Puzzle
- The Race Car Toy Puzzle
- The Picture Frame Puzzle
The Dollhouse Puzzle (1st Floor)
When you enter through the back door, turn to your left right away to find a drawing on the refrigerator. Keep it in mind for later; it depicts a dollhouse with three dolls standing on top of it in a particular arrangement. Getting each doll is as follows:
The Neighbor Doll: Use the right door to exit the kitchen, then turn left. Move the picture frame and climb the closet to get entry. At the conclusion, there will be a map and the Neighbor Doll.
The Little Boy Doll: Leave the closet by leaping out and heading straight for a photo frame. It can be moved aside to reveal a three-letter puzzle. To open a secret room, type the word NOT. Enter it and take the Crowbar and Little Boy Doll.
The Little Girl Doll: says to look in the upper left corner of the kitchen where a red plank is fastened to the wall. Remove it using the Crowbar, then take the Little Girl Doll out of the confined area.
Place the dolls in the exact same sequence as in the drawing on the fridge to complete the puzzle; from left to right, arrange the Little Girl, Little Boy, and Neighbor Dolls. One of the four basement keys will be visible when the dollhouse opens.
The Locked Safe Puzzle (1st Floor)
Inside the chamber next to the stairs is the lockable safe. Four numbered cubes that are strewn over the house contain the combination to the safe. Finding them is essential if you want to know the cubes’ numbers; collecting them is not necessary.
Open the refrigerator from the kitchen to find Cube #4.
To access the restroom, exit to the right and turn right. To locate Cube Number 9, lift the toilet lid.
Cube Number 1 is on the side table to the left, and Cube Number 8 is directly next to the safe, inside the sealed safe room. These are the last two cubes.
Enter 1984 to interact with the safe, unlock it, and retrieve the second basement key.
The Race Car Toy Puzzle (2nd Floor)
The second floor is quite difficult to access because of crime scene tapes covering it. To take them out, players need scissors. Go to the designated area on the map, which is where the Neighbor Doll is located inside the house, to obtain the Scissors.
Solve the Train Puzzle to get the scissors.
When you reach the second floor, go to the bedroom’s first door on the left and take these actions:
Take the red lever from the crate on the ground and proceed to the desk up ahead.
Turning to the left, place it in the bookcase’s left-most slot.
Enter the recently discovered hidden area, then scan the left.
Cut the spider webs using the scissors, then remove the batteries.
Leave the bedroom and continue walking until you reach the child’s room at the end of the corridor.
Head right to the table where the toy race vehicle control is located.
To get the car to bring the key, insert the battery and pull the lever twice.
The main character now has three of the four keys needed to open the basement.
The Picture Frame Puzzle (2nd Floor)
On a tiny table in the bedroom, close to the bed, is a picture frame with broken pieces. To obtain the last key, all parts must be collected. The following places are where you can locate them:
Cut the crime scene tapes across the bare bookcase to grab a piece.
To cut some spider webs and acquire weights, turn to the left and climb the closet near the bed. Once there, put the weight on the blue square spanning the pillow tent in the kids’ room. Unlocking a closet will let you see a piece.
After that, exit the area and unlock the chest with the crowbar to retrieve a another piece.
To cut a stitch and gather another piece, enter the child’s room at the end of the hallway.
On the bookcase adjacent to the picture frame, there will be a concealed drawer with the last key.
When you use all four keys to open the basement and look into what the Neighbor is up to, you discover a newspaper reporting about the Museum’s demise and its missing keys. Quentin concludes from this that the Neighbor has relocated to the Museum.
