What are Bell Bearings in Elden Ring?

Bell Bearings are special Key Items in Elden Ring that may be given to particular NPCs to unlock various purchaseable items. Bell Bearings are normally obtained via exploring and plundering specific portions of a location, being dropped by a specific Enemy or Boss, or being provided by an NPC. This article offers a complete list of all Bell Bearings discovered in Elden Ring, as well as their descriptions, locations, and uses. These can be given to the Twin Maiden Husks to help them expand their Roundtable Hold shop inventory.

Elden Ring’s Roundtable Hold is a location. After Melina, a companion, arrives and leads you to the Roundtable Hold, you will find it. Fast travel is the only way to get to this place.

This will occur naturally as part of your quest, and you will be able to meet and interact with a variety of NPCs while there. Your trusted blacksmith, some sorceries and incantations teachers, characters passing through, and vendors are among them. The Twin Maiden Husks are the most underappreciated of these vendors, and based on their looks, you might not even recognize them as NPCs.

The Twin Maiden Husks begin with a small selection of objects that are unlikely to pique your interest. Apart from purchasing, you will occasionally be asked to give them something called Bell Bearings before perusing their inventory. Bell Bearings are an unique and limited commodity in the Elden Ring universe, and this is the only place where you can utilize them. Finding even one of these small metal balls in such a vast environment can seem impossible, and the benefits are absolutely unknown until you hand one over.

Here’s all you need to know about Bell bearings, including what they’re used for and where you can find them all in Elden Ring.

Once you’ve obtained one, which we’ll show you where to find below, simply hand it over to the husks, and they’ll begin selling more stuff. Here’s what you can get with each Bell Bearing you hand over.

Where to find every Bell Bearing in Elden Ring

We’ll get right into it because there are a lot of Bell Bearings to discuss. None of these will be easy (most will need you to face a boss), and many will be kept away until later in the game so you don’t become too powerful early on. For the purpose of convenience, we’ll go in the sequence listed above, but keep in mind that this isn’t always the order in which you’ll be able to get them.

Smithing Stone Miner’s Bell Bearing (1): The first Smithing Stone Miner’s Bell Bearing can be found in Liurnia of the Lakes, not far away. You must locate the Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel on the region’s northeastern outskirts, brave its depths, and defeat the Crystalian at the end, who will drop this Bell Bearing for you.

Smithing Stone Miner’s Bell Bearing (2) Find the Sealed Tunnel dungeon to the north of the Minor Erdtree Church Site of Grace on the Altus Plateau. Smithing Stone Miner’s Bell Bearing (2) location: You don’t have to explore the full dungeon; instead, look for the illusion wall next to the Statue of Marika. This will lead you to a chest where you can find the Bell Bearing.

Smithing Stone Miner’s Bell Bearing (3) location: In the Mountaintops of the Giants, start at the Grand Lift of Rold, or the Zamor Ruins Site of Grace if you’ve been there before, and enter the ruins proper. This one is extremely simple; all you have to do is discover the stairs down into the ruins to get to the box.

Smithing Stone Miner’s Bell Bearing (4) location: You’ll have to wait until you’ve made it all the way to the Crumbling Farum Azula for the last of the ordinary Smithing Stone Miner’s Bell Bearings. As you continue through the Dragon Temple, you’ll come across a difficult boss fight with the Godskin Duo as part of the natural progression. You get this trinket if you win.

Somberstone Miner’s Bell Bearing (1) location: For all of your sombersmithing needs, we begin by conquering the Sellia Crystal Tunnel in Caelid. You can arrive here by walking through Sellia, Town of Sorcery itself, or by finding a hidden teleporter that leads to this exact location. To get this reward, go through the tunnel and defeat the Fallingstar Beast.

Location of the Somberstone Miner’s Bell Bearing (2): You’re traveling down into another tunnel in the Altus Plateau. The Altus Tunnel is located straight south of the Erdtree, past the Woodfolk Ruins. You’ll be given this Bell Bearing if you explore the depths and vanquish the Crystalian Duo in the end (which is no easy task).

Location of the Somberstone Miner’s Bell Bearing (3): Thankfully, we have a simple one to break things up. Head west from the Whiteridge Road Site of Grace to the First Church of Marika amid the Giants’ snowy mountaintops. You’ll find a corpse laying in the snow outside the church with this Bell Bearing on it.

Somberstone Miner’s Bell Bearing (4) Deep inside the Crumbling Farum Azula, get beyond the Crumbling Beast burial Depths Site of Grace and over to the Tempest-Facing Balcony Grace to get the Somberstone Miner’s Bell Bearing (4). This one is plucked from a corpse just next to Grace’s.

Miner’s Bell Bearing (5), Somberstone (5), Somberstone (5), Somberstone (5), Somberstone We’re sticking with the Crumbling Farum Azula to fill off your Somberstone collection. After the Beside the Great Bridge Site of Grace, there is a temple on the north end of the map that leads to the Maliketh, the Black Blade Site of Grace. Return to the temple’s basement to find this on the body of yet another unfortunate soul.

The Bell Bearing of the Ghost Glovewort Picker (1) can be found in the following locations: To return to the mystical side of things, we must travel to Nekron, Eternal City. While getting there is difficult, the Bell Bearing is located just down the steps from the first Site of Grace you see while entering the zone.

Location of Ghost Glovewort Picker’s Bell Bearing (2): After traveling from one eternal city to the next, we must now travel deeper into Nokstella, Eternal City, in the Ainsel River area. Go east from the Eternal City Site of Grace to a building, ascend to the second story, and loot the box guarded by slimy foes.

Location of the Glovewort Picker’s Bell Bearing (1): We’re heading back up to the Altus Plateau, not to be confused with the Bell Bearings mentioned before. Find the entrance to the catacombs below the Wyndham Ruins. To claim this Bell, you must defeat the Erdtree Burial Watchdog inside.

Glovewort Picker’s Bell Bearing (2) is located in the Mountaintops of the Giants, near the Giant-Conquering Hero’s Grace Site of Grace. The Catacombs of Giant’s Peak will be there in front of you. A familiar boss – an Ulcerated Tree Spirit — may drop this Bell Bearing along with a Golden Seed.
