How to unlock the Tyrannosaurus Rex in Jurassic World Evolution 2
Create a park in a mode other than Sandbox Mode, preferably Challenge Mode because it is unrestricted. Build a science center, an expedition center, and so on as you normally would, raking in a considerable amount of money.
As soon as you can, start researching carnivore traits. You need to research them in this order:
Medium Carnivores 1, Medium Carnivores 2, Medium Carnivores 3, Large Carnivores 1 and finally Large Carnivores 2.
Medium Carnivores 1 (Ceratosaurus) – Automatically available at the start of your run.
Medium Carnivores 2 (Carnotaurus) – Can be unlocked at the start.
Medium Carnivores 3 (Metriacanthosaurus) – Requires Medium Carnivores 2 and increasing the total carnivore population to +3. You can just use Ceratosaurus or Dilophosaurus to get this part done.
Large Carnivores 1 (Giganotosaurus) – Release three dinosaurs with the Strong trait.
Large Carnivores 2 (Tyrannosaurus Rex) – Have a dinosaur with three fights won.
The Strong attribute on three dinosaurs is the next step towards unlocking the Tyrannosaurus Rex in Jurassic World Evolution 2 (provided you’re playing Challenge mode). There are a few options for accomplishing this:
You can either research and hatch the dinosaurs that can have it at random (i.e. Small Herbivores -> Pachycephalosaurids 2 -> Pachycephalosaurus) or you can research and hatch the dinosaurs that can have it at random (i.e. Small Herbivores -> Pachycephalosaurids 2 -> Pachycephalosaurus).
You can also unlock and investigate the Tooth and Claw Hardness Gene Modification. This necessitates the use of a dinosaur that has lost at least two battles. This can be accomplished by combining several carnivores of the same species in a single enclosure (i.e., Dilophosaurus or Deinonychus). Every few days, there’s a risk they’ll fight.
How to get dinosaurs with the Strong Trait in Jurassic World Evolution 2
You’ll be able to make your T-Rex once you’ve unlocked Large Carnivores 2, if you have the finances to harvest its genome. You will get access to the following sites:
Frenchman Formation 5, Hell Creek Formation C, Lance Formation Site C
Before you can construct a T-rex, you’ll need to send your expeditions to one or more of those locations and collect at least 50% of the T-rex genome. Then, when the typical sequencing, hatching, and releasing procedures have been completed, place them in an enclosure – preferably one of their own.
