From Bear Den Ranch follow the river south all the way down to the Rivermouth Grasslands. You will find feed and rest zones for pheasants on both sides of the river. You will often find a flock of pheasants with 3 or 4 males and a few female pheasants feeding together. If spooked the flock will split up. Have patience and sneak up on them.
Pheasants can be heard from a distance use your hunter sense to locate them walking through the grass. Pheasants can often be located near the river and walking around the railroad tracks.
